Anton Shuli
Director

Anton graduated from the University of Western Australia with degrees in Law and Commerce (Majoring in Finance).
Anton completed his Articles at one of Western Australia's largest Independent Law Firms, and his restricted practice year at a well respected metropolitan general practice firm, before becoming a Director of iLaw Barristers and Solicitors.
Anton's approach is to make all clients feel comfortable by keeping them advised on all aspects of their matter, including their prospects and costs. He believes that clients' best interests are served by lawyers who are committed and who regularly communicate with them about their matters.
Anton has developed particular areas of practice including property, equity and estate disputes, sale and purchase of business, commercial and retail leasing, partnership and corporate disputes and commercial litigation. This is in addition to his usual practice experience drafting wills, Powers of Attorney, the appointment of enduring guardians, commercial and residential conveyancing and applications for probate and claims on deceased estates.
Anton is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and is admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor of all Western Australian Courts as well as the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.

Jeremy Malcolm
Consultant

Jeremy was admitted to practice law in 1995. He spent five years in a diverse practice at Perth firm Macdonald Rudder before founding his own boutique IT and Internet law practice in 2000. In association with this practice, iLaw was Australia's first legal portal for instructing lawyers over the Internet, with immediate online credit card payment; commonplace now, but revolutionary at the time.
Jeremy ceased his day to day involvement with the firm when commencing his PhD in law in 2005, which he completed in 2008, going on to publish an acclaimed book based on his research. However he remains available to consult to the firm on complex matters of IT and telecommunications law, intellectual property and licensing and the other niche practice areas in which he specialises.
